I'm in love with the quality of this book. The craftsmanship is beautiful. With every page turn, I crave to run my fingers across the text to feel the subtle indentations of the letterpress. The smell of the leather is intoxicating, and the original artwork printed on the front and back are subtle yet classy. I've been looking for a collector's edition of The Great Gatsby and The Sun Also Rises for a while. All editions that I'd seen prior didn't touch my soul in the same way the texts did. When I found Century Press, I couldn't believe my luck that not only had they printed The Great Gatsby but had done The Sun Also Rises as their sophomore work as well. Both aesthetic visions perfectly capture what I would expect these volumes to look like. I haven't received my copy of The Sun Also Rises yet, but I have no doubt it will bowl me over as instantaneously as The Great Gatsby has. I've already pre-ordered The Call of the Wild; I couldn't help myself.
